Typical Qualifications Graduation from high school or General Education Equivalency Diploma. Possession of a valid State Driver’s License. Must pass written Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A exam within six (6) months of hire. Must obtain valid CDL, Class A License without restrictions for air brakes and with a tanker endorsement within eighteen (18) months of hire. Supplemental Information Knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools and equipment. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions associated with operation of maintenance equipment. Knowledge of traffic laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to moving and/or driving maintenance equipment over roadways. Knowledge and skill of operating assigned equipment.
