Position description : A successful candidate is expected to have a focus on Civil Engineering Materials such as concrete, asphalt, and fiber composite with applications relevant to structural, geotechnical, pavement engineering, and sustainability. Successful candidates should have experience and training in sustainable cementitious materials, including magnetizable concrete for pavement and structural systems, using recycled and upcycled materials in concrete, asphalt, natural and man-made supplementary cementitious materials, etc. Faculty members will be expected to work across multiple program areas within and outside the department as we expand our focus on material and sustainability-related areas.
