Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. This position participates in statewide program development, interpretation of Federal and State laws and regulations, contract development and management, budgeting, quality assurance, program and fiscal compliance as well as works closely with the Department's Financial Management section to ensure assigned program expenditures are allowable costs and are within the approved/modified budget. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The ideal candidate must be able to type at least 40 words per minute, have intermediate to advanced skill level in MS office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), excellent management of budgetary and program documentation and retention. The candidate must also have excellent skills in editing, proofreading, and have experience in PDF document remediation. Experience as Certified Contract Management (CCM) is preferred or must be obtained within the first 6 months of being hired in this position.
