Position Summary The Facilities Project Supervisor coordinates and oversees the in-house trades participation in project work associated with Facilities Services projects as well as with Project Management projects. Job Summary The Lead Carpenter, assigned to the Carpenter Shop within the Maintenance & Operations unit of Facilities Development & Operations, works under general supervision and provides lead direction for journey-level crafts workers and semi-skilled assistants, laying out and coordinating the work flow for the shop, preparing materials lists, and ordering supplies in addition to performing work as a skilled carpenter. Staff within the Carpenter Shop are responsible for a full range of journey-level skilled work in rough and finished skilled carpentry, to ensure a clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained learning environment. The Maintenance & Operations unit of Facilities Development & Operations provides services to a University campus spread across five sites comprised of +170 acres, 52 buildings, and more than six million gross square feet. The Carpenter Shop is one of seven skilled trades shops within Maintenance & Operations and is comprised of a lead carpenter plus three journey-level carpenters and may be assisted by staff in the Facility Worker Shop. Job Summary The Lead Carpenter, assigned to the Carpenter Shop within the Maintenance & Operations unit of Facilities Development & Operations, works under general supervision and provides lead direction for journey-level crafts workers and semi-skilled assistants, laying out and coordinating the work flow for the shop, preparing materials lists, and ordering supplies in addition to performing work as a skilled carpenter. Description Currently there are 3 part-time positions available working up to 20 hours per week including weekdays and weekends. (1) Camps - up to 20 hours per week (1) Clubhouse - up to 20 hours per week (1) Teen Center - up to 20 hours per week To coordinate a specialized activity within a recreational program such as adult and youth sports, after school and camp programs and aquatics, special events, contract classes, senior services, and recreational facilities maintenance and operations. The Recreation Specialist is distinguished from the Senior Recreation Leader based on its responsibility for a broader range of recreation activities and services. This is a part-time, at-will position exempt from the classified service. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives general supervision from the Recreation Coordinator and Recreation Supervisor. Provides technical direction and functional supervision of other part-time staff including Recreation Leaders, Senior Recreation Leaders, and volunteers. Description Currently there are 3 part-time positions available working up to 20 hours per week including weekdays and weekends. (1) Camps - up to 20 hours per week (1) Clubhouse - up to 20 hours per week (1) Teen Center - up to 20 hours per week To coordinate a specialized activity within a recreational program such as adult and youth sports, after school and camp programs and aquatics, special events, contract classes, senior services, and recreational facilities maintenance and operations.
