Job Summary The Mohave County Office of Procurement is currently recruiting for an Administrative and Central Services Supervisor in Kingman, AZ. The typical hiring salary is $22.58 - $27.78 - DOQ *Current pay range is under review in the upcoming 24-25 Fiscal Year* Performs secondary line supervisory work involved in maintaining the administrative, business and clerically oriented processes of a large office staff within a major department that performs a wide variety of clerical functions. Positions are responsible to a department director or staff level manager/administrator for maintaining the administrative, business and clerically oriented processes of the department. Positions have full supervisory responsibility, independently develop, and implement new procedures and have a major impact on the department's budget and planning processes. Serves as back-up for Central Services Division. Supervises the County cell phones working directly or indirectly with contracted vendor to activate, deactivate, and troubleshoot mobile service issues. Assists customers in determining the most appropriate mail service for their needs and to maximize postage discounts. Solve problems such as tracking lost mail, researching incorrectly addressed mail and redirecting it to the appropriate party, and working with customers and vendors to resolve issues. Serves as liaison with vendor(s) in determining upgrades and repairs and ensures all mail distribution equipment is appropriately supplied by vendor(s) in accordance with contract(s). Troubleshoots and coordinates with vendor(s) regarding basic repair issues, as appropriate. Coordinates inside and outside courier operations which includes determining the locations and frequencies to be included in routes. Operates and instructs staff in the use of mail equipment including high-tech inserter, computerized postage meter with scale and bar code reader, and an automatic bundling and inserting machine. Reviews reports on mail distribution activities including mail processed and financial reports to ensure accuracy and adjust, as needed, which require intermediate analytical application. Develop and manage the Procurement / Central Services Budget in conjunction with the Director, may review and approve expenditures, tracks actual expenditures. Prepares detailed financial and statistical reports, long-range planning documents, and other reports or documents as needed. Generates, maintains, and prepares all Procurement / Central Services financial reports required for the Finance Department, audits and any other financial/budget reports required by outside agencies. The City of Vallejo is seeking candidates for four Senior Water Treatment Plant Operators as collaborative members of the City's Water Department. An ideal Senior Water Treatment Plant Operator will have sufficient working knowledge and progressively responsible experience working in a T3 system (or higher) drinking water treatment facility, comparable to Vallejo's surface-water system. Incumbents are expected to be able to solve technically complex and challenging water treatment and distribution operational issues, practice sound judgement and impartial decision making, conduct lead responsibilities including training, promote a trust-building and cohesive team, and work collaboratively with other Water staff and divisions. Adjusts, maintains, tests, and calibrates boiler and air conditioning machinery and mechanical, electrical or pneumatic control instruments and safety devices. Prepares and catalog documents for records retention and archiving with the city’s Records Department as well as complies with Texas State Records Retention periods. Liaison with IT and facilities for all divisional needs including systems and hardware issues for community workstations, updates to all email distribution changes, facility repairs and ordering & tracking of department keys for all supervisors. Types, prepares, transcribes, proofreads and/or completes various correspondence and reports for the division. Produce bi-weekly slideshow featuring pertinent officer information including division activity information as well as city-wide information. Provide clerical support to assist designated upper level administrative and other supervisory staff in the completion of their duties and responsibilities. Monitor building maintenance needs; report building maintenance issues to appropriate building services personnel. Maintains conference and training rooms schedules. Performs customer service functions and provides information/assistance regarding City, departments or division services. Provide assistance or backup coverage for other employees or divisions as needed. Maintains confidentiality of departmental documentation and issues. Maintain Criminal Justice Security Awareness Certification. Comply with all written City policies and procedures. Adhere to assigned work schedule as outlined in City and department attendance policies and procedures. Must be able to work flexible hours when needed. DIVISION SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS: PATROL DIVISION Supports division as well as specialized units including the Motors Unit, SWAT Team, Hostage Negotiation Team, K-9 and Drone Unit. Maintain and distribute Patrol division assignments reflecting current patrol assignments and ensure division’s assignment board reflects real time staffing. Create, update and disseminate Field Training scheduling documents for new recruits throughout the department. Assess and troubleshoot software issues with patrol equipment to resolve problems such as ticket writers and ticket printers. Responsible for processing, shipping and tracking all patrol equipment for repair or calibration. Provide and update officer access to citation and key management systems. Monitor performance evaluation deadlines to ensure sworn staff receives evaluation before shift and supervisor changes if required. Manage inventory of patrol division forms room, ordering or photocopying when needed to ensure supply is sufficient for operations. Assist in the implementation of the annual live shift bid process. Maintain and update School Notification contact information for all regional school districts. Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma or GED, with excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, are necessary. Ability to maintain confidentiality, strong ethics and customer orientation. Supplemented by three (3) years of experience and/or training involving administrative/clerical work, budget administration and typing. Must be able to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services Security Awareness Certification. Experience in using Microsoft Office software and overall basic computer skills. Any work related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the above Minimum Qualifications is an acceptable substitute for the above specified education and experience requirements.
