Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field. Experience: Three years of progressively responsible experience with complex administrative and support programs involving executive-level administrative support or general office management in an automated environment. Licensure: Must possess or be able to obtain, within 30 days of employment, a valid class "C" Texas driver's license. NOTE: Retention of position contingent upon obtaining and maintaining required license. ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTIONS Education: One additional year of experience, beyond the required, of progressively responsible experience with complex administrative and support programs involving executive-level administrative support or general office management in an automated environment may substitute for 30 hours of the required education, with a maximum substitution of 120 semester hours. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Experience in Texas State Government. Experience with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department business practices. Experience in reviewing and editing documents. WORKING CONDITIONS Required to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless approved for flexible work schedule under Departmental policies. Position is expected to consist of work predominantly within the office building. Required to work extended hours and/or overtime, as necessary. May be required to operate a state vehicle.
