Two years of full-time, paid experience operating, maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, power systems, water treatment, fire life safety systems, or water and steam pressure boilers. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This is the entry level class in the Engineer series. This class is distinguished from the journey level by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within this series.
