Job Description and Duties The AGPA provides analytical and administrative support, plans, coordinates, and oversees routine and complex facilities and telecommunication, as well as relocation of employees for the California Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division. The incumbent acts in a lead capacity and provides back up support to the Staff Service Analysts for facility and telecommunications needs that service the CJIS Division. The incumbent provides analytical and administrative support, and specialized advice to Bureau Directors and their staff in relation to facility needs and CJIS data and telecommunication needs. The incumbent exercises a high degree of initiative and independence during the performance of these assignments. The incumbent is responsible for closely monitoring the cost of data lines associated with the networks, California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System, California Identification System, IOS, Live Scan, Disaster Recovery, Palm Print, Network Encryption, Statewide Investigative Networking System, and Voice over Internet Protocol. The incumbent reports line costs and billing issues as needed. In the area of telecommunications (telephones, tablets, and smartphones), the incumbent identifies, defines and assesses strategic needs and requirements, develops strategic and tactical policies as applied to the design, development, implementation, management, and support of telecommunication systems and networks. The incumbent makes recommendations based on industry standards and requirements. The Opportunity: We are pursuing a highly qualified, self motivated candidate to fill a Senior Disaster Services Analyst position in the Executive Management Services Division (EMSD). The Senior Disaster Services Analyst position c onducts investigations, analyses, and special studies of the more difficult and complex problems, plans, and programs involved in disaster/emergency preparedness. Positions allocable to this class typically report to a departmental manager responsible for disaster/emergency service preparation or operations and perform a full range of administrative functions supporting those operations. The position will report to a Children’s Mental Health Unit Supervisor who manages the day-to-day operations. This position will be assessing children and youth referred to Youth and Family Services (YFS) per their level of care needed and meeting the medical necessity. This role will be completing clinical assessments, ongoing trauma screenings, with formulating diagnostic impressions, and co-creating treatment plans with client/parents. Maintaining ongoing, timely documentation for each client is a must, and flexibility to work in the community, clinic and schools is needed, along with a strong sense of collaboration. Typical ways to acquire the required knowledges and abilities are listed below: Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, social services, political science, education, or a related field. Experience: One year of experience performing administrative analytical duties in a position equivalent to the Monterey County classification of Management Analyst I OR Four years progressively responsible experience in positions requiring administrative analysis, training, report writing and/or interpreting complex governmental regulations are examples of typical alternatives to education.
