Job Location: This position will be located at 1706 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65102. This opening is for a Social Services Program Specialist 2 within the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy (DHCFP) Managed Care and Quality Assurance (MCQA) unit, in Carson City NV. The successful candidate will join the team of Managed Care Organization (MCO) and Dental Benefits Administrator (DBA) contract monitors. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements; including, but not limited to: providing contract, policy, and federal regulation interpretation; report monitoring; following complaints through to resolution; ensuring issues are documented appropriately; representing the Unit at Hearing Preparation Meetings; updating and presenting Medicaid Services Manual (MSM) changes at Public Hearing; submitting and following through on requests for data; initiating and tracking Production Discrepancy Reports; and leading meetings with stakeholders as necessary.
