ACADEMY TRAINING Successful completion of the mandatory eight- week long LASD sponsored, in-service training program, is required prior to final appointment. Positions allocated to this class must complete a training course given in accordance with Title 15 of the California Code of Regulations. All information, including the selection requirements (i.e., age and education) is subject to verification and your application may be rejected at any time during the selection process.
