WHAT YOU'LL DO The Lateral Firefighter-Paramedic performs emergency medical services as a certified paramedic for an assigned engine company and performs various fire service duties including all hazards emergency response, ocean rescue, fire suppression, hazardous materials operations, station and equipment maintenance, fire prevention, public education and related duties. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO QUALIFY A combination of education, training and experience equivalent to one year of full-time firefighting experience with a comparable fire agency and possession of required license and certifications.
