Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.
Major/Essential Functions
Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Inpatient Hem/Onc consult service
Inpatient Hem/Onc service
Outpatient Hem/Onc clinic at the UMC Cancer Center 4 half days per week
Supervising residents and fellows and service in inpatient and outpatient settings
Provide lectures and conferences for residents, fellows, and medical students
Conducts and publishes peer reviewed clinical research
Occasional Duties
General Internal Medicine inpatient attending 2-4 weeks per year.
Occasional clinic at corrections facility.
Required Qualifications
MD, DO, or MBBS
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology

Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.
