Description THEATER TECHNICIAN (Recreation Technician Job Code: 9328) Hours: Casual non-benefited employees are limited to working no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and no more than 900 hours in a fiscal year (July 1-June 30). Home to a resident theatre company, the facility is also in demand as a rental venue for smaller performing groups, dance and music school recitals, lectures and film screenings. This position is required to work evenings and weekends. This position will report directly to the Technical Coordinator. Our Journey Substation Technician performs journey-level skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical substations, circuit breakers and related facilities. The starting pay rate for this position is $55.04 per hour with a potential increase after the successful completion of a 6 month probationary period. Our Water Meter Technician II performs water meter installations, maintenance, and repairs of ¾” to 6” water meters. They also serve as a lead in the water meter shop and ensures all daily work is assigned and completed. Incumbent in this position will be responsible for ensuring well-maintained, high quality, safe and aesthetically pleasing golf grounds, facilities and equipment. Applicants can expect to work at any of the golf facilities based on the needs of the Golf Division. The hiring range for this position is $16.50- $17.98, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a part year position lasting a maximum of 10 months working less than 30 hours per week. Position will remain open until filled. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintains turf grass areas through mowing, fertilizing and topdressing. Performs cup setting, placing tee markers, servicing ball washers, changing towels, filling, raking, and edging sand bunkers. Assists Golf Specialist Irrigation with irrigation system servicing, watering, and maintaining the rental cart fleet. Assists Mechanic in servicing and repairing golf course maintenance equipment. Assists Grounds Technician in implementing fertilization program, pesticide program, and other specialized tasks including over seeding and topdressing. Assists in completion of improvement projects through operation of tools and equipment. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Employee is capable of performing most other golf course maintenance duties and is expected to do so as needed; other duties as assigned.
