The Program Manager monitors and provides guidance to the JOC Program and MR/MC Project teams comprised of General Contractors, Design Professionals, Contract Managers, Cost Accountants, and internal and/or 3 rd Party Inspectors in an effort to achieve Agency and Division goals focused on the maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of existing capital infrastructure to support both short-term and long-term strategies. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Working knowledge of and ability to apply standard theories, principles, practices, and techniques applicable to the program and/or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations. The incumbent is a student advocate for the Office of Career & Leadership Development, the Division of Graduate Studies & Career Development, and the Academic Affairs cabinet area. Some travel to sites off-campus and work on weekends and evenings may be required. Extended periods of the day may be spent in an office, working at a desk on a computer, or at meetings.
