CLASS CHARACTERISTICS The EMS Specialist is a professional, non-safety position responsible for supporting and ensuring that the highest level of emergency care services are delivered by the District. The EMS Specialist will utilize a team/oriented approach to develop and maintain the skills, knowledge, and abilities of EMS personnel in a practical and appropriate manner.
