Knowledge of office methods and basic financial procedures and practices. Thorough knowledge of University procedures or the ability to learn the procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems or Prolog Construction Software a plus. Experience in graphics software packages a plus. Must have the ability to independently interpret and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures and use effective problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Ability to draft and prepare clear and accurate memoranda and correspondence. Must possess the ability to learn new office technology systems and software packages quickly. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in order to communicate effectively with current and potential employees as well as vendors. Must have the aptitude to exercise sound judgment when interacting with others. Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all matters to ensure trustworthy working relationships.
