PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION & DRUG TESTING: The County of Sacramento is committed to maintaining a drug and alcohol free workplace. All persons selected for appointment to positions must pass a medical examination and a drug test, administered by the County at no cost to the applicant. DRIVER LICENSE: Possession of a valid California Driver License may be required for some positions. PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Regular positions are subject to a probationary period which is an extension of the selection process. Unless otherwise indicated on the announcement, the probationary period is six (6) months.
