Provides instruction to students individually or in small groups in assigned learning or “center” activities per direction of teacher; may implement lesson/activity assigned by specialists; provides assistance as necessary to students with sensory or physical handicaps; promotes and monitors a safe environment conducive to the instructional process; may perform vocational training with students according to their individual needs as assigned by the teacher or specialist; may assist students with job hunting skills and job application procedures and encourages students to participate in all learning activities. 2. May instruct students in self-care activities or carry out activities such as feeding, dressing and toileting; may perform diapering/toileting assistance and changing of sanitary napkins and colostomy bags, brushing teeth, inserting orthodontics and suctioning machines, tube or pump feeding; may restrain and calm students when they become self-abusive or violent toward others; monitors and protects students through seizures and other physical emergencies; performs sensory stimulation activities as assigned; uses adaptive equipment; may assist students to perform activities during adaptive physical education; may administer and log medications as assigned, as trained by the licensed school nurse or appropriate therapist. 3. Supervises students during recess or lunch periods; may supervise students in locker/shower rooms and restrooms; assists students in bus loading or unloading; instructs bus drivers on proper physical and/or behavioral support of students; may transport students as needed throughout the school or building premises. 4. Position Information Sonoma County's Valley of the Moon Children's Center's Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program is seeking Registered Behavioral Health Clinicians to join their team! Starting salary up to $51.44/hour ($107,361/year) and a competitive total compensation package!* PLUS a $15,000 Signing Bonus^ The Department of Health Services (DHS) is recruiting to fill two time-limited Registered Behavioral Health Clinician positions. The time-limited positions are funded through June 30, 2027. About the Positions Working in the therapeutic setting, the Registered Behavioral Health Clinician will play a crucial role as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team at the Valley of the Moon Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). They will offer recovery-oriented behavioral health interventions to children, youth, and their families directly under the supervision of professional behavioral health staff. Position Information Sonoma County's Valley of the Moon Children's Center's Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program is seeking Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians to join their team! Starting salary up to $57.39/hour ($119,779/year) and a competitive total compensation package!* PLUS a $15,000 Signing Bonus^ The Department of Health Services (DHS) is recruiting to fill two time-limited Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician positions. The time-limited positions are funded through June 30, 2027. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, and providing individual, group, and family counseling with youth and adults in various settings as well as developing, evaluating, and overseeing the implementation of treatment plans. Clinicians will also provide emergency intervention and consultation, as well as crisis management as needed.
