Position Information Join the dynamic Sonoma County Regional Parks Department as a Parks and Grounds Maintenance Worker! Multiple Extra-Help positions available. Working at locations across the County, Parks and Grounds Maintenance Workers maintain all County parks, bike trails, open space and other landscaped areas under contract with the County of Sonoma. This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief I. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance, repairs and stabilization at Bodie State Historic Park and Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve. This includes all buildings, grounds, miscellaneous structures, water and sewer, historic structure maintenance and stabilization, facility housekeeping maintenance activities, as well as the lead over sector seasonal maintenance employees. This position requires working outdoors during very cold inclement weather including subfreezing temperatures.
