Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintenance and repairs of all light equipment, trucks, sewer cleaning trucks, dump trucks, automotive and heavy equipment on all types, makes and models. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED. Three years' experience in maintaining and repairing gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air conditioning systems, automotive, truck, sewer truck vacuum systems and water pump small and large for pressure trucks. Valid Class CDL-A Texas Driver's License (or obtained within 6 months of hire date). Must be a Certified Texas Department of Public Safety Vehicle Inspector (or obtained within 6 months of hire date). Ability to report to work on time, maintain a good attendance record, and work all designated work schedules. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Automotive Service Excellence Certifications.
