Activation of the Nevada Operations Center and/or local emergency operation centers may occur in the event of an emergency or disaster. All positions within the agency perform a role to support emergency operations. This may serve to disrupt or totally change all previously established work performance standards, requiring 100% of time until the emergency is over. During activation, the EOC may be operating 24 hours a day, to include weekends and holidays, for an extended period of time.
