Articulation and Academic Requirements Analyst (2 POSITIONS)
Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Non-Exempt
Registrar's Office - Academic Services

Salary Range : $3,694 - $7,131/Monthly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $3,694 - $4,337/Monthly)

Work Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule upon successful completion of training; non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions : Under the supervision of the Associate Registrar for Academic Services, the incumbent maintains transfer/test credit rules and academic requirements in the enterprise student information system (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Degree Planner). These activities often require analysis of narrative descriptions of courses and academic requirements turning them into rules entered into the student information system. Communication with academic leadership to refine and clarify requirements may be required. Incumbent is expected to analyze requirements, identify conflicts, and communicate them to the supervisor for resolution. Incumbent is expected to be familiar with the various tools offered by the student information system and can suggest alternate solutions to complex problems. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical when requirements and rules are entered into the student information system. In addition, this position is also responsible for documentation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution related to accuracy and reliability. Development and execution of test plans validating requirement and rule changes are required. Academic advising changes are made in coordination with the Associate Registrar for Graduation, with whom the incumbent must develop a strong working relationship. Occasional assistance with other activities in the Registrar's Office may be required to accommodate seasonal variations in workload. Assist with exploring and implementing new PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functionality. Performs other related duties.

Required Qualifications & Experience : A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or one year of training and administrative work experience involving transfer credit, academic advising, or graduation evaluation. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position. As part of the interview process, candidates will be asked to complete an assessment.

Desired Qualifications : Foundational knowledge of higher education principles, practices, and methods; general knowledge and skill with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions academic advising and transfer credit modules as well as degree planner tools are preferred.
