Job Description

The Job

San Bernardino Countyis recruiting for Printing Services Operator I* who operate and service digital reproduction, and bindery equipment in a print shop or an independent satellite operation.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Travel throughout the County is required. Employees will be required to make provisions for transportation and may be required to use personal vehicles (mileage reimbursement is available). At the time of hire, a valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be produced for the individual providing the transportation.

Minimum Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

Option 1: Twelve (12) months of full-time equivalent experience in a printing or bindery environment performing digital or wide-format printing and bindery functions which includes working with Windows applications (Microsoft Office, web browsers, etc.).

Option 2: Twelve (12) months of full-time equivalent experience with primary responsibility for performing high-volume digital printing functions, utilizing wide format digital printers, roll-to-roll digital presses, and cutters, which included working with Windows applications (Microsoft Office, web browsers, etc.) to generate the high-resolution images for final printing.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with usage of rulers and math skills to ensure proper alignment and registration desirable . Experience with Adobe Suite also desired.
