Job Description

The Role:
The Traffic Supervisor (On-Call) is expected to maintain directed parking and traffic control programs. The position is also responsible for directly supervising on-call Traffic Attendants as they perform assigned tasks in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
Keep in mind that this list is not all-inclusive.
  • Ensure customer safety and service excellence standards are maintained by on-call Traffic Attendants.
  • Supervise the on-call Traffic Attendants.
  • Oversee and maintain Traffic Section equipment, tools, as well as control equipment set-up and disassembly.
  • Address complaints and resolve issues and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Identify and develop staff competencies to encourage continued growth and advancement within the Traffic Section.
  • Support the LVCVA safety initiatives and ensures ambassadors in the field have a safe working environment by reporting safety concerns and issues promptly. Take corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensure appropriate signage placement and make appropriate changes based on paid parking and traffic activity.
  • Assist the Traffic Revenue Supervisor when needed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic within the property.
  • Offer recommendations for improvements based on daily challenges and show specific activities.
  • Make quick, sound decisions and adjustments and solve practical problems dealing with variables to accommodate show and staff needs.


What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Traffic control experience and six months of supervisory experience are desired
  • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Experience with standard office equipment and software.
  • Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license at the time of appointment and keep it current during employment.
