The Position Financial Institutions Examiners conduct examinations in the Financial Institutions Division of the Department of Business & Industry.
The Department of Business and Industry is recruiting to fill a Financial Institutions Examiner 1 position within the Financial Institutions Division in Las Vegas. The incumbent participates in the annual examination of licensed depository and non-depository institutions for safety and soundness and for compliance with State and federal law and regulations; conducts exit meetings with licensees including business owners, managers, and directors of financial institutions explaining examination findings and providing recommendations for any violations of State and federal laws and regulations; and prepares reports of examination and investigations for review by the FID Examiner III and/or Supervisory Examiner.

Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, or related discipline; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. The Examination Application Evaluation Exam The exam will consist of an application evaluation.
