This position will be located at Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Air Pollution Control Program and will be located at
1659 East Elm St., Jefferson City, Missouri. - This position is an Associate Research/Data Analyst position that works with team members in the Planning Section to shepherd air-related rulemakings and state implementation revisions through the Missouri Air Conservation Commission approval process and prepares actions for submission to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
- Update webpages to reflect new information and for public notices and comment periods for rulemakings and plan revisions
- Track rulemakings the Planning Section develops and ensure the necessary filings occur by their respective deadlines
- Collect materials from Planning Section team members to compile into the planning report for the briefing documents for Missouri Air Conservation Commission meetings (approximately nine times per year)
- Review, format, and route letters and other deliverables through the approval chain of command
- Research and analyze air-related topics that are relevant to the Planning Section
- Work in a fast-paced environment, and be ready to change gears on high priority and time sensitive projects
- Attend training and seminars, continuously working on professional development, technical knowledge and skills, and identifying process improvements and efficiencies

Equivalent to those typically gained by: - A bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.
