About the Role: Responsible for providing a wide range of transcription services, including medical records, general correspondence reports and forms. Responsible for handling or directing calls from public or staff in the best interest of the caller. Location: 224 West Clarendon Drive, Round Lake Beach IL Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm) Tuesday (11:30am - 7:30pm) *First Saturday of the month 8:30am - 12:00pm and first Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm* Skills and Experience Enters programmatic data into computer. Types client records, correspondence and memoranda. Serves as receptionist when required. Files documents, correspondence, and client related records properly. Maintains and keeps records. BHS ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs various clerical duties, which may include client opening and closing procedures, collecting fees, filing, inventory/ordering supplies, photocopying, faxing and deposits. May transcribe staff dictation. May check timecards and review for accuracy or enter DAS data. Provides assistance to the clinical staff regarding general client needs. May serve as receptionist for the program, which includes answering telephone, scheduling client appointments, collecting client payments and directing calls, as needed. Obtains signatures, copies and information to verify third party coverage and process client billing. Education, Qualifications, and Certification: Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Spanish-speaking preferred.
