Description: Position Summary Classified as: Casual Worker Hourly-intermittent temporary positions on or after November 6, 2023 and ending on or before June 30, 2024 in Campus Recreation. Under the general supervision of the Fitness Coordinator, this position will promote health, wellness and recreation to the students, staff, and faculty. Serve as a Fitness Instructor. Knowledge and experience with a variety of Group Fitness classes preferred. CPR certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to communicate with participants about warm-up and cool down exercises, stretching, flexibility, appropriate music, cardiovascular exercise, motivational skills, fun and knowledgeable of exercise safety. The Fitness Instructor should be a highly motivated team player who will have the primary responsibility of the supervision of participants.
