APPLICATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED AS THEY ARE RECEIVED AND AS SUCH THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE AT ANY POINT BASED ON THE APPLICANT POOL. This recruitment is being conducted to fill several extra help vacancies assisting Napa County Fire with their Vegetation Management and Chipping Program. Extra help assignments are non-benefited and may be used for on-call needs up to 40 hours per week ( up to 1,000 hours per fiscal year). Park aides assigned to the Vegetation Management and Chipping Program perform a variety of general labor tasks, including debris chipping and removal, general maintenance of chipper and equipment, as well as other duties as required and directed by the supervisors. The Fuels Reduction season begins in April and could go through November, possibly into December. Applicants to this recruitment will not be assigned to Parks and duties will be limited to the Vegetation Management and Chipping Program.
