Description The Departments: Finance The Finance Department administers the financial affairs of the City of Santa Clara, including City-owned public utilities. The Positions: Finance Accounting - Student Intern II/III The Finance Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on accounting and finance experience and learn about the various aspects of the accounting and finance functions in the City’s Finance Department. Engineers are involved in all phases of our work, from conception to operation. Almost all engineering is performed in-house, and engineers are encouraged to consider internal transfer opportunities to promote professional growth. ORGANIZATION The Sanitation Districts function on a regional scale and consist of 24 independent special districts serving approximately 5.6 million people in Los Angeles County. The Districts' solid waste management sites similarly provide about one-fourth of the countywide solid waste management needs.
