CONVEYING EXCEPTIONAL INTEREST« Back to Questions List

I have read a lot of “dos” and “don’ts” for interviewees, but how do I set myself apart from other candidates in demonstrating how much I want the job?

I think there is a fine line between being persistent and being pushy. Sending flowers to the recruiter or baking cookies is probably not the way to go. However, a prompt, written thank you note that includes a sentiment about how much you enjoyed meeting him/her and how you could see yourself as a qualified fit, would be appropriate and would clearly demonstrate your level of interest.
