These \u201cthree N\u2019s\u201d are Needs, Narrative, and Network. While Kruglanski\u2019s commentary related to individuals, and it may be a leap to apply deradicalization concepts to building vibrant, healthy work cultures, you can still see the importance of these three N\u2019s. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/drivers-of-deradicalizati_b_6117334\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Drivers of Deradicalization: Needs, Narratives, Networks | HuffPost<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Let\u2019s dig into these powerful persuaders. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span>Needs <\/span><\/em><span>describe the basic human quest to matter \u2014 to live with significance. For some, needs are the driving force that compel them to do good and to serve people. For others, needs lead to violent upheaval.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to Kruglanski, the deciding factor for acting for good or evil is the second N, <em>narrative, <\/em>that people are exposed to.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If the <em>narrative <\/em>in your community suggests that the way to significance is through good deeds, and you accept that, you\u2019ll do those. If the narrative suggests fighting the enemy of your beliefs, and you accept that, then that\u2019s what you\u2019ll do.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The third N is <em>network<\/em>, a community that both rewards behavior and validates members who act in accordance with the narrative, whether that narrative is for good or for evil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;
