The Washoe County School District, located in beautiful Northern Nevada at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, serves 64,000 students in the greater Reno/Sparks area. We are a system of 104 schools that includes Elementary, Middle and High schools, an Adult Achievement school, and four K-12 Alternative schools. The diversity of our community and our learners is reflected in the diversity of our programs. We are committed to ensure every student has an opportunity to learn in a way that sets all students up for success. We serve “Every Child, by Name and Face, to Graduation”, our goal is a 90% graduation rate by 2020.
