This position is to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the activities of the Information Technology division within the Finance Department, including network infrastructure, cyber security, telecommunications, enterprise applications, cloud and on-premise systems, data management, public safety technology systems, and technology support services; to coordinate citywide information technology initiatives with other departments, to develop and implement strategic technology plans, policies, and standards; and to provide highly complex professional and administrative assistance to the City Manager, Finance Director, and executive management team.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED

Receives administrative direction from the Finance Director. May also receive direction from the City Manager as assigned

Exercises general and direct supervision over assigned professional, technical, and administrative support staff.
