    Job Description

    As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Responder in Pacific Palisades, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will support a professional location through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while contributing to a reliable and responsive environment.

    Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Rate: $23.47 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site protocols.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
    • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations, verifying access credentials and reporting access concerns or policy violations to site leadership.
    • Maintain a visible presence while handling assigned firearms responsibilities in accordance with post orders, company policy, and applicable laws and/or regulations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • An armed guard card/license is required.
    • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
    • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
    • CPR certification is preferred.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
