• Payrate: $26.00 per hour.
• Location: Los Angeles County, California

• Looking for Full Time Rovers - Full time position (40 hours)

As an Armed Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a Government Building.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and if appropriate emergency response.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by client site.

• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner.

• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties.

• Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMETNS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Possess a current Guard Card and Firearm Permit and any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations that may be required prior to employment.

• As a condition of employment, the candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Possess a valid driver's license, required for driving positions only.

• Must have at least 1 year of security experience within the past 3 years; or military and/or law enforcement experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
