As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Officer in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor and vehicle screening processes in accordance with site protocols.
• Support medical facility operations by assisting with de-escalation, escort requests, and/or security-related responses involving patients, staff, visitors, and high-traffic public areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
