    Job Description

    As a Armed Security Officer - Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post for individuals who bring integrity, reliability, and a team-focused approach to every shift.

    Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeTue10:30 PM - 06:30 AMWed10:30 PM - 06:30 AMThur10:30 PM - 06:30 AMFri10:30 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through the proper chain of command.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
    • Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards, maintaining readiness to address access issues, disturbances, and/or after-hours security-related incidents.
    • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive equipment spaces, verifying authorized access and supporting a professional environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • Possess an armed guard card/license.
    • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
