    Job Description

    As a Armed Security Officer - Overnight Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift while supporting a caring, innovative culture.

    Position Type: Full Time

    Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeMon10:30 PM - 06:30 AMThur10:30 PM - 06:30 AMFri10:30 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:30 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including armed response duties in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, security-related concerns, and/or access issues.
    • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activity through detailed written reports.
    • Support a professional presence while communicating with employees, contractors, and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols and consistent application of site policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • An armed guard card or license is required.
    • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
