The Role:The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist helps to set strategy and execution over LVCVA's digital ecosystem — determining the direction of CMS and CRM content architecture, discoverability (SEO/AIO), analytics frameworks, and cross-channel campaign performance. This position will have oversight of the day-to-day website user experience, digital creative direction, and the scope, deliverables, and performance of the LVCVA's external website agency partners and development vendors. The role will evaluate business needs, formulates digital strategy, approves vendor work product and manage budget allocations. Serving as the organization's authority on web UX and digital experience design, the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist applies creative and analytical judgment to shape destination-defining digital experiences that reflect the ambition and scale of LVCVA's industry-leading presence.

Operations - Direct end-to-end web projects across the LVCVA ecosystem by defining scope, priorities, resourcing, and success criteria to drive projects from concept to launch.
- Manage external agency and vendor relationships by directing workflows, guiding creative/technical briefs, approving deliverables, and partnering with the Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing to control scope, budget, and schedules.
- Oversee the webmaster function by establishing organizational policies for image rights, content governance, metadata, site hygiene, and legal/accessibility compliance.
- Evaluate campaign performance and recommend strategic adjustments and course corrections to leadership.
Analytics - Audit the SEO/AIO program regularly to develop keyword strategies and drive technical optimizations.
- Track search performance using platforms like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Profound AI, translating data into prioritized action plans while monitoring AIO/GEO trends.
- Transform paid and organic data insights into actionable website, UX, and campaign optimizations in collaboration with social, advertising, and hotel marketing partners.
Digital Experience & Creative Direction - Define the creative vision and UX strategy for LVCVA's web properties, optimizing the traveler's digital journey from inspiration to booking.
- Design optimal UX flows and originate digital experiences—such as interactive features and redesigned user journeys—to drive engagement and partner referrals.
- Execute design and content decisions that balance creative vision with conversion goals, ensuring a distinctive, on-brand, and high-performing digital presence.
What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field, or High School diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of additional equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, including a minimum of 2 years in a project management or team lead capacity; experience in hospitality, destination marketing, or a related industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing CMS and CRM platforms (e.g., WordPress, Simpleview) and coordinating custom development projects with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proven knowledge of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, link strategy, and analytics-driven auditing; familiarity with AI-driven search optimization (AIO/GEO) is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or Tableau, with the ability to derive strategic insights from complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com or Jira is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain clear documentation throughout.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
- Experience across cross-channel digital marketing, including paid media, email, social, and web content strategy, with the ability to synthesize performance data into unified optimization plans.
- Experience leading external agency and vendor relationships end-to-end, including scoping engagements, directing creative and technical work, approving deliverables, and managing spend.
- Creative vision for digital experience — the eye, the ideas, and the confidence to originate UX concepts, site architecture, and storytelling approaches, not just execute on specs handed down from elsewhere.
