    Position Description

    Tacoma Power's Power Management division is seeking a Power Energy Conservation Analyst to join their team! In this role you will implement and administer Residential customer energy projects and programs. This role works closely with contractors/installers, Customer Energy Solutions (CES) Information staff and CES Managers and Supervisors to implement customer energy programs identified in the Conservation Plan and support other customer energy programs as assigned.

    Responsibilities Include:
    • Work with customers and trade allies to implement programs for single family and multifamily properties.
    • Conduct initial property/building assessments to identify opportunities, recommend all conservation program offers and encourage property owners to participate and install energy efficient products.
    • Coordinate projects between residential and commercial programs to achieve maximum savings potential.
    • Review, evaluate and approve Weatherization, HVAC, and hybrid water heater proposals to ensure product meets program specifications.
    • Enter project information into the Residential database.
    • Work with customers, contractors and CEP staff to ensure appropriate documentation is provided.
    • Conduct in-progress and completed project inspections through field visits, video chat, or other means of verification to verify eligible measures comply with program specifications and meet program requirements.
    • Assist resolution of concerns/issues between customers and contractors.
    • Review invoices for accuracy and verify that work done according to plan and rebate quantities.


    Qualifications

    Minimum Education*
    Bachelor's degree in project management, environmental studies, business, public administration or directly related field

    Minimum Experience*
    2 years of energy program/project management experience

    *Relevant education and experience may substitute for one another on a year-for-year basis

    Other Employment Information

    Direct Deposit: Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule by direct deposit.

    Salary Increases: Based on satisfactory job performance, the City provides for a regular progression of salary increases for most classifications according to the salary schedule.

    Union Affiliation: Many job classifications are covered by union security provisions which require union membership, dues, or payment of equivalent service fees.
