As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Desk Associate in Wichita, KS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a financial institution.
• Monitor access at the front desk by checking credentials, verifying appointments, issuing visitor instructions, and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a visible front desk presence, answer questions, support lobby operations, and document security-related events, visitor activity, and/or incidents according to site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior through attentive front desk monitoring, professional interaction, and consistent application of location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
