The City of Fairfield is seeking an exceptional housing leader to help shape the future of housing and neighborhood vitality and address homelessness and its impacts in a diverse and growing community at the heart of Solano County.
Reporting directly to the City Manager and serving as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Housing Services Director will lead a multifaceted department overseeing affordable housing, the Housing Authority, homeless services, and key federal and state housing programs. From advancing affordable housing developments and tax credit projects to strengthening homelessness response and shaping long-term housing strategies, this is a highly visible opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Fairfield seeks a collaborative, politically astute, and emotionally intelligent leader who brings both technical depth and strong people leadership. Experience in affordable housing development, housing authority operations, homelessness initiatives, and grant administration is highly desirable.
Salary: $192,833–$258,224 DOQE + excellent executive benefits.
