    Title: Unarmed Security Officer - Darby PA

    Location: Darby/Chester, PA

    Job Type: Part-Time, Unarmed

    Compensation: $15.50

    Shifts: Weekdays

    Description

    Primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and protection of the client assets in accordance with all local, state and federal laws. Shift hours: Monday-Friday, (3 days per week) 7:45 am to 5:15 pm Pay Rate: $15.50hr Benefits: As a part-time employee, you receive paid training, paid time off, and you are also eligible for voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, etc.

    Major Responsibilities
    • Patrol school facilities and grounds to prevent disruptive or illegal actions, access to restricted areas, theft or vandalism on an assigned or rotating shift.
    • Perform security operating procedures and site-specific tasks;
    • Convey information between client, staff and organization;
    • Execute basic security functions such as perimeter and interior foot patrols, monitor CCTV and other systems, secure client property and assets, stand posts, etc.
    • Standing, walking, and foot patrols
    Essential Job Functions
    • Provide logistical support regarding security of client assets;
    • Enforce operating procedures, site-specific instructions;
    • Setup and execute basic security functions, i.e. perimeter and access control, identification procedures, secure assets/property and post standing duties;
    • Communicate and coordinate movement with client, U.S. Security staff and Management;
    • Observe and report any event that may have an impact on operations;
    • Provide assistance to any position or post on a designated detail;
    • Prepare reports that detail incident findings;
    • Collaborate with other agents and agencies to exchange information and coordinate activities;
    • Monitor, note, report, and investigate suspicious persons and situations, safety hazards, and unusual or illegal activity in detail area.
    Basic Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED;
    • Prior security experience preferred;
    • 3 years security /Customer Service required
    • Reliable transportation; Reliable means of communication (active e-mail and cell phone);
    • Must successfully pass, background check.
