Job Description Job Description Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) TechnicianWest Palm, FLFull-Time | Day & Night Shifts | Overtime AvailableMaintenance of Traffic (MOT) Technicians are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic control devices to ensure safety and compliance with approved MOT plans and FDOT standards.Responsibilities:Full Time Employment (40 Hour Work Week with Overtime) **Day shift work combined with mandatory rotating night scheduleAssigned Company Work Truck to perform workSet up and maintain the maintenance of traffic work zones to meet customer and FDOT needs. Perform lane closures, road closures, signage and cones on local roads.Maintain regular, punctual attendance during regularly scheduled work hours at assigned worksite.1-2 years of MOT/Traffic Control experience is preferred.Work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.Adhere to all FDOT Standard Plan Indexes and safety guidelines.Work as a team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness.Physical ability to move traffic control equipment (up to 50 lbs), stand and walk under outdoor (hot or cold) temperatures.Must maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.Able to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes.Plans, organizes and supervises all equipment and materials needed to set-up, take down, maintain traffic control, and handle traffic-related situations.Safely loads/unloads MOT equipment and protects company's assets by following security plan and loss prevention practicesProvide verbal and written status reports to Manager using email, phone, form app and all other communication tools.Requirements:Valid U.S. work authorizationClean driving record & minimum 2 years valid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoorsEnglish requiredMOT experience preferredPay & Benefits:Salary Range 40,000 - 60,000/ Yearly(including OT)Overtime opportunitiesHoliday & Vacation PayCompany truckCompany training and certificationHealth Insurance & 401K Upcoming by end of 2026 Calendar YearBonus opportunities
