Job Title: Traffic Technician
Department: Shipping Location: Amelia, Ohio Supervisor Title: Shipping Supervisor 4on/4off Mode 4AM-4:30PM
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE : The Traffic Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse, plant, and truck areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for staging materials and surfactants.
- Recording and putting up finished goods.
- Pulling orders for delivery.
- Unloading and loading trucks.
- Comply with all safety procedures and safety training requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Collaborates with other internal department to achieve operational goals
- Assure all paperwork is properly filled out and submitted in a timely manner
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent. (Minimum) Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of warehouse experience Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Current certification on all three types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms preferred. Computer experience desired. (SAP) Strong math, detail and organizational skills required
