    Job Details

Senior Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technician (Future Division Leader)
A growing, family-owned fire protection company in the DFW area is hiring a Senior Kitchen Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Technician with a clear path to build and lead this division.

This role is designed for a high-level technician ready to take the next step - not just stay in the field long-term. You'll start hands-on, with the expectation of growing into a leadership role as the division expands.

    What We're Looking For
    • Texas FEL-K License - Required
    • FEL-A License - Preferred (or willingness to obtain quickly)
    • ~10+ years of hands-on experience with extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems
    • Strong experience in inspections, service, repairs, and installations
    • Ability to design systems, pull permits, and run jobs start to finish
    • Fully independent in the field

    High-Value Traits (Non-Negotiable)
    • Hungry for growth and advancement
    • Wants to move beyond just being a technician
    • Likely undervalued or stuck with no clear path forward
    • Strong leadership potential with accountability mindset
    • Thinks like a builder - not just a worker

    Role Structure & Growth Path
Phase 1: Senior Field Technician (Immediate)
    • Own inspections, service, installs, and repairs
    • Help stabilize and elevate current workload
    • Bring a higher level of execution and accountability

Phase 2: Operational Involvement (Short Term)
    • Provide input on workflow, scheduling, and structure
    • Identify inefficiencies and growth opportunities
    • Support hiring and training efforts

Phase 3: Field Supervisor (As Team Grows)
    • Lead and train additional technicians
    • Enforce standards and accountability in the field

Phase 4: Division Leader (Long Term)
    • Oversee operations, team performance, and growth
    • Play a key role in scaling this service line

    Why This Role Stands Out
    • Existing workload ready to step into immediately
    • Opportunity to bring and grow customer relationships
    • Direct path into leadership - not years down the road
    • Ability to help build and shape a department

    Who This Is For
    • A technician ready to step into leadership
    • Someone who wants to build something and grow with it
    • A professional looking for more responsibility, impact, and upside

    Who This Is NOT For
    • Someone looking to stay comfortable in the same role
    • Technicians without initiative or leadership mindset
    • Anyone not interested in growth or accountability
