    ScrumMaster - Senior

    Position / LCAT: ScrumMaster Level: Senior Lead Designation: N/A Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
    Role Summary

    Facilitates daily SCRUM, stand-ups, and meetings to support the Agile Software Development Process. Uses Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions, while training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams. Works closely with the Requirements Engineer and business stakeholders to define and prioritize features, monitors project progress and performance, and assists development teams in maintaining focus and removing obstacles.
    Responsibilities
    • Facilitate daily SCRUM, stand-ups, and meetings to support the Agile Software Development Process
    • Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
    • Train, mentor, and support scrum teams to follow Agile values, principles, and practices
    • Monitor and track project progress and performance against agreed-upon project plans
    • Work closely with the Requirements Engineer to review requirements from customers
    • Facilitate Sprint planning sessions and provide oversight and guidance to define the tasks to include in each Sprint
    • Assist the development team in defining and maintaining Work in Progress and Sprint task limits
    • Facilitate planning sessions to define Epics, Features, and Backlog items, as well as estimated levels of effort for development
    • Work with business stakeholders to define and prioritize new features and enhancements to be added into projects
    • Plan and organize demos and product/system testing
    • Assist the development team in making progress on the project by ensuring each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team members' progress, and protecting the team from distractions
    Required Qualifications
    • Five years of experience working with software developers and customers to scope projects, estimate levels of effort, and evaluate customer requirements to create applications to deploy to Microsoft SharePoint (both out-of-the-box and with custom coded) and to Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) using the Microsoft .NET Framework
    • Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures
    • Five years of experience with the SDLC and Agile processes
    • TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
    • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies in a DevSecOps environment
