Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, Quantico VA
The Counterintelligence Specialist (Mid-Level) will conduct CI analysis and investigations to identify, assess, and counter foreign intelligence threats to Marine Corps personnel, operations, and resources. The specialist will apply knowledge of CI tradecraft, foreign intelligence services, and USMC missions to develop and implement effective CI strategies.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct CI analysis to identify foreign intelligence collection targets, methods, and vulnerabilities
Develop and maintain CI threat assessments, awareness products, and briefings
Perform CI investigations and operations to detect, deter, and neutralize foreign intelligence activities
Conduct liaison and coordination with USMC, DoD, IC, and Law Enforcement CI elements
Prepare accurate and timely CI reporting and disseminate to appropriate consumers
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a CI/HUMINT discipline or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience conducting CI analysis and investigations in DoD/IC
Knowledge of CI analytic and investigative methodologies, reporting standards, and legal/policy requirements
Ability to plan and conduct effective liaison and develop productive working relationships
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
