As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that requires an enhanced presence and asset protective services. This position an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day./ppSpecific benefits include:/pulliCompetitive Pay (Bi-Weekly)/liliRecognition and Reward Programs./liliTraining and Career Development./liliOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan./liliUniform and equipment provided/liliAdditional benefits vary depending on position./li/ulpExpected Responsibilities:/pulliAccess control of all entries by employees, vendors, contractors, visitors, etc./liliEnsure that proper ID badge prominently displayed and that employees and non-employees show a picture ID/liliPatrol the grounds and interior of facilities as directed and document patrols in the daily activity report/liliMaintain and carry the assigned company cell phone as required./liliMonitor and observe the CCTV System at the Security Desk in an attempt to identify potential threats or safety hazards. If issues are observed, notify the appropriate personnel or agency to respond to the issue./liliMonitor dock doors and personnel doors through the CCTV system to confirm reasoning for the opening./liliAssist employees in an orderly evacuation of the building and to Muster Points in an event of a fire or other emergency./liliObserve and report suspicious activity or situations and use communication skills and deductive reasoning to prioritize your responsibilities./liliConfirm that all lights and televisions are turned off if not needed in designated areas./liliObserve all areas for leaks throughout facility during each round./liliConfirm in all designated locations that gauges, monitors and panels throughout facility are properly functioning as directed./liliMonitor and respond to all alarms. Notify facility maintenance or engineering if appropriate./liliVerify there are no fluid leaks or harsh smells./liliInspect for water left running or leaks in all restrooms and kitchen areas./liliObserve any unusual noises or vibrations from mechanical devices./liliMake sure all dock and personnel doors are closed and secure./liliPerform any other duties as assigned/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliSpeak, read, and write English/liliMust be age 21 or older/liliShall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency/liliMust be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment./liliMust possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the of assignment to perform security officer duties./liliPass a background Check/liliPass a 5-panel drug test/li/ul/div
